The entries in the open library are displayed as a list.

The Library Entries List screen has the following parts:

The Entries List

Library entries are listed in the default or specified sort order, grouped if/as specified, and filtered if/as specified.

Besides the list, there is an Exit arrow in the upper-left corner, a Search button (magnifying glass icon) at the top, a 3-dot Action menu in the upper-right corner, and a right-side pullout menu.

Touching the Exit arrow

Exits the screen, generally back to a Libraries List screen.

Touching the Search icon

Allows entry of a Search key into a text box. Upon pressing OK, a Search within the Library is conducted and a list of matching entries displayed. In the entry list header box, the number of matching entries is shown.

Opens the Action menu.

Opens the Entry View card for the entry

Entry display

Each entry is displayed in the list as follows:

Thumbnail (if any)	Edit tools (if any)	Concatenated Name field values Description	Status values

Thumbnail

If an Image field within the library has been assigned the Role of Thumbnail, the value of that field will be displayed as an Image, reduced in size.

Edit tools

Any field eligible for editing within a list will have an edit tool displayed. For a Boolean (checkbox) field, a checkbox will show the current value, and pressing the checkbox will toggle the value of the field. The other eligible field types have composite values, in which case, a button will be displayed, which, when pressed, will pop up a list of values that may be edited.

Concatenated Name field values

The value of the Name field is displayed. If there are multiple Name fields, their concatenation, with spaces separator(s) is displayed. The space for display of Name values is one line.

Description

The value of the Description field is displayed. If there are multiple Description fields, their concatenation, with spaces separator(s) is displayed. The space for display of Description values is two lines.

Status values

Any Status fields are displayed, one per line, at the right edge of the entry display.

"Slicing & Dicing" Entries

View

Set the view of the Entries List to List or Table

List

Set the view to List View. Entries are displayed as list items, with values only of fields with specific roles displayed.

Table

Set the view to Table Vie. Entries are displayed as rows in a table, with (generally) all field values displayed.

Cloud

If the library is currently not in the Memento Cloud, the Library will immediately be synced to the Cloud. If the library is in the cloud, the Cloud Library Status card is displayed.

The Action Menu

Touching the 3-dot icon in the upper-right corner of the screen opens the Action Menu, allowing the user to perform one of the following actions:

Edit the Library

Opens the Library Edit screen

Import and export...

Opens a submenu, as follows:

Import from CSV

Opens a file finder card with a CSV filter

Export to CSV

Opens a directory finder card

Upload to Cloud

Link To Google Sheets

Protection

Send All

Create Shortcut

Opens a submenu, as follows:

Open library

Creates a device home screen shortcut to enter Memento in the current Library Entries List screen

Create an Entry

Creates a device home screen shortcut to enter Memento in the Entry Edit card to add a new entry

Help

Opens a submenu, as follows:

Help contents

Initiates the Memento Wiki in the default Web browser

Forum

Initiates the Memento Group in the default Web browser

FAQ

Initiates the FAQ page of the Memento Wiki in the default Web browser

About

Displays an About card, with platform, version, and license information

The Group/Main Menu

Touching the 3-line menu in the upper-left corner of the screen opens the Group/Main Menu, which allows selection of the Group to be displayed.

Below the list of groups, the following menu items are displayed:

Favorites

Show an Entries list of entries marked as Favorites across all libraries

History

Show an Entries list of entries across all libraries updated in History

Recycle Bin

Show a Libraries list of the Recycle Bin

Below that, the following menu items are displayed:

Catalog templates

Show a Templates list of catalogued library templates

Cloud storage

Show a Cloud Libraries list (not a normal Libraries list) that are synchronized with Memento Cloud Storage

Sync with Google

Initiates the synchronization process with Google Drive. This starts immediately and may continue for a while, depending on how many libraries and entries are to be synchronized.

Shows the Memento language translation page in an Internet browser

User Voice

Initiates Memento User Voice (feature requests) in an Internet browser

Desktop version

In an Internet browser, shows the page at www.mementodatabase.com for the Desktop version of Memento
